About Me

Travel is my life, and I’m happiest when I’m on the road. I’ve been very fortunate to have the time and the means to see the world. Ever since I was a little kid, I have dreamt of nothing but a life of adventure and trying out new things, especially food. I’ve also been very lucky in that I’m able to live out my dreams with the coolest (and my favorite) person ever, my husband Nick.

Makan is the Malay word for “to eat”, and this site is dedicated to good food, travel, and everything that makes life amazing!
